Authentication

Authenticate Vardera API requests with bearer tokens.

The Vardera API uses bearer token authentication. Your API key can access only the assessment endpoints and operations enabled for your organization.

Keep API keys on the server. Browser clients should call your own backend, and your backend should call Vardera with the API key.

Header format

Authorization: Bearer VARDERA_API_KEY

If a request is missing a token or has an invalid token, the API returns 401. If the token is valid but cannot access the requested resource, the API returns 403.
